Matthew 6:34
“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.”
We tend to always look ahead into the future and wonder. We wonder what is going to happen, or how we will get through, and we often fear the worst. We worry about things constantly, looking further than we need to. But how do we know when we are just concerned, or when it is worry?
Concern is being aware of specific needs and to take responsible actions to meet them.
But worry, is extreme concern. It’s an obsession. When you worry, you fill with nervousness, anxiety and fear. Worry, immobilizes you. It takes over you and soon your body is just filled with it and it can’t function properly. But how do you deal with this worry?
Understand that God knows our needs and he shares our concern. He will take care of you. But you have to show that you know that; not only trust that he will, but live like he will.
It’s like we are the size of an ant and he is the size of a human. We can only see the blade of grass in front of us and not what’s ahead, but God can see so much further ahead and he knows what is going to happen so we should trust him because he can see across the whole yard, and not us.
Place in God’s hand your trust, and he will place in your hand peace.
